Animate the transition between explode states and mold opening steps.
Yes - Automatically repaints the drawing display when changing from one window to another. No - Update to drawing views will only occur when manual updates are made via Repaint or View> Update. Use this to save memory
Assembling components with an interface will automatically place the component at the first position satisfying the interface definitions. Disable for huge assemblies
Yes - Transparent colors will appear using alpha blending (if supported) when the model is shaded. Turning this off (no) disables alpha blending for transparent objects. This can improve performance in scenes with many transparent components (at the expense of visual realism) by simplifying how transparency is rendered
Controls whether to enable snapping to missing references while dragging components for placement. Yes - Snapping is enabled while dragging. No - Snapping is disabled while dragging. Disable for huge assemblies
Display inactive assembly components using phantom transparency and default color (grey). Default value is shade_only. Disable for huge assemblies
Displays the names of components in symbolic representations.
Wireframe - All solid edges in white. Hiddenvis - Hidden lines in grey. Hiddeninvis - Hidden lines removed. Shade - Display shaded surfaces. Settings are reflected in printing and some export modes.
Determines whether or not annotations are displayed in 3D models. Use this to save memory
Controls model display in a drawing when auto_regen_views is No. Wireframe - Adds new views in wireframe, displays datums. Minimal_wireframe - Displays in wireframe, no datums, axes, or silhouette edges. Default - Displays using the Environment setting. Use this to save memory
Yes - Datum planes will be displayed. No - Datum planes will not be displayed. Turn them off for loading larger assemblies
Sets the display of silhouette edges for wireframe display only. Use this to save memory
Set whether to display tooltips when you move the pointer over drawing views. Use this to save memory
Controls the display of a hyperlink screen tip. yes* - Displays a screen tip when you move the pointer over the hyperlink. no - Improves the zoom and pan performance on large drawings. Use this to save memory
Set whether to display the name of the combined state name, in the tooltip of the drawing view. The name appears only when the drawing view is created using a combined state. Use this to save memory
Controls display quality of an edge for wireframe and hidden-line removal. Normal - Normal quality of edge display. High - Increases tessellation by 2. Very_high - Increases tessellation by 3. Low - Decreases tessellation from normal, speeds up display. Set to a higher value if you have a good graphics card
Yes - shading display is allowed in drawing views. No - shading display will be shown in wireframe. Use this to save memory
Yes - Displays all views of drawings in wireframe. No - Displays views according to the display set for the session (wireframe, hidden, and so on). Never put shaded view in drawings. Useful for large assemblies
Yes - Items selected in the model tree are highlighted in the geometry area. Use this to save memory
Yes - Hidden lines for the intersected bodies in a part mode are accurately removed. This can result in slower performance. Use this to save memory
Specifies the transparency value to be used for inactive layout content. Range is 0 (no transparency) to 100 (fully transparent). Use this to save memory
Determines whether or not the system uses Level of Detail in shaded models during dynamic orientation (panning, zooming and spinning). Useful for large assemblies
When lods_enabled is Yes, this value specifies the default value used to display LODs. The value is a percentage of the edge size vs the total size of the model. Useful for large assemblies
Defines calculation of Mass properties. Automatic - on each regeneration; report_outdateness_only - outdated mass properties notification is shown; by_request - upon user request; check_upon_save -prompt upon save if mass properties are not calculated. For large assemblies or on-demand analysis, setting this to by_request (instead of automatic) will calculate mass properties only when prompted, improving regeneration speed. Conversely, using automatic ensures up-to-date mass properties at each regeneration (helpful when weight tracking is critical)
Yes - Selectable items beneath the pointer are highlighted prior to being selected. No - Selectable items beneath the pointer are not highlighted prior to being selected. Use this to save memory
Default value for "Preselection Highlighting" option in the model tree, layer tree, detail tree and layout tree. When enabled, selectable items are highlighted prior to being selected in the tree. Use this to save memory
Specify the size in megabytes of the memory buffer to be reserved by Creo for system out of memory condition. You must restart Creo for the change to take effect. Set to a higher value to use more memory
With family tables of solid parts, determines saving instance accelerators. None - Accelerator files not used. Explicit - Save when instance is explicitly saved. Saved objects - Save when objects were modified. Always - Always save. Use this to save drive space or time
No - Does not process reference parts when generating the shaded image (to save time). Yes - Shades reference parts when generating shaded images. Use this to save memory
Model shade quality is used to decide how much to subdivide surfaces for shading purposes. Higher shade quality is slower but produces better pictures. Set to a level that is appropriate for your graphics card
Controls the shading of surface features. Set to a level that is appropriate for your graphics card
Displays the Shrinkwrap alert the first time the quality level is increased. Removes the warning about shrinkwrap when moving past 1
Gives the user the option not to display small shaded surfaces. Disabling this option will improve display quality at the expense of speed. It is most useful for creating screen snap shots. Set to a NO if you have a good graphics card
Enables the dynamic snapping to constraints during the dragging of components. Disable for huge assemblies
Yes - 3D feature and model notes are displayed during dynamic spinning of a model. Turn off for large assemblies
Display orientation center while reorienting. Turn off for large assemblies
Specifies whether datum features will be displayed during dynamic spinning of a model (affects legacy datum planes only).
Yes - Silhouette lines will be displayed during dynamic spinning of a model. Turn off for large assemblies
Yes - Applied textures will be displayed when the model is shaded. Set to a level that is appropriate for your graphics card
Yes - Transparent colors will appear as such when the model is shaded. Set to a level that is appropriate for your graphics card
Control the usage of 3D thumbnails when retrieving in light weight graphic representation. Disable for huge assemblies
